Braxton Automotive is celebrating 15 years of business March 1. What an accomplishment! Read on for some of Braxton's memorable moments over the years.
March 1, 1998 - Steven Braxton leased office space and bays to open Braxton Automotive. It began with just him and a helper. At the beginning, Steve worked on all vehicles out of his 4-bay shop. He was open on weekends and stayed late many nights.
July 23, 2002 - Braxton Automotive's first Service Advisor, Jeanne, started here and was a vital part of organizing and running Braxton Automotive for 8 long years. We miss you, Jeanne!
March 20, 2007 - Braxton Automotive purchases it's first location! That means 8 bays, more space for customers, more Technicians and 2 Service Advisors. And this allowed Braxton to be able to specialize in Volvo, BMW and Mini.
June, 2007 - The city of Atlanta widened Howell Mill Road, taking away 5 feet of our parking lot and added a turning lane to Chattahoochee Ave. Through the bars, our customers could watch the changes take place on the road and the surrounding neighborhoods for the better.
February 10, 2010 - Brian Diamond Glass, our tenant, relocated, allowing us to expand into the whole building! What used to house 3 separate businesses has now become one full-service repair shop. We now have 12 bays, 5 Technicians and we're specializing in Land Rover as well.
March 1, 2012 - Volset went out of business allowing us to purchase their facility and begin offering Emissions and quick service oil changes.
March 1, 2013 - 15 year anniversary! We celebrated by throwing Steve a surprise lunch with a few special guests who have been apart of Braxton's growth and success over the years. And this is where we are today. 15 years and we've come a long way. Thank you for being a part of it!
